A new app for social network giant Facebook allows users to view and remote control Windows and Mac desktops. Based on tried and tested VNC technology, Deskhop is free and handles messaging and security to make it easy for Facebook friends to share desktops.
Deskhop’s promo video says people need remote control for situations when they don’t have the tools to do a task, or need some help with a program. Deskhop also enables people to work together on the same document at the same time. Deskhop can be installed into your Facebook account by clicking on App Center in your Facebook browser tab.
