This WordPress plugin adds a PHP function to send a Tweet. The function can be called from anywhere in your WordPress template, and accepts the text to be Tweeted as its first argument. It’s very useful if, for example, you use some PHP to do something on your WordPress site and would like to send a Tweet from your PHP code.
The plugin gets your Twitter username and password from the Twitter Tools plugin, or this information can be supplied as the second and third arguments when calling the function.
